A "Spoken Word" Evening with Cathi Rae, Amy Langdown and Lizzie Lovejoy, which looks at the relationships women have with each other as we continue to grow and age.. Friday 28th February
Cathi Rae is an award winning poet, spoken word artist and accidental academic.
She has been described as a “spoken word icon” by Joelle Taylor. Cathi has performed throughout the UK and across the globe.
Tonight her work will focus on celebrating age, challenging ageism and the invisibility of older people.
Amy Langdown is a performance poet from the North East. Amy writes alot about the current political climate, mental health, family and landscapes.
Lizzie Lovejoy is an award winning illustrator and writer based in the North East. Lizzie creates work for and inspired by the people they surround themselves with. Lizzie won the NE Artist of the YearAward 2023.
The evening will start at 7pm and finish at 9pm. Doors open at 6.30pm
Refreshments and nibbles are included in the price of the ticket.
