Work and Play in August

What's been happening. Well there has been a lovely trip to Lindisfarne where both Joe and I had a night on the island soaking in the very spiritual atmosphere of the place, enjoying the peace once the tourists had left and photographing a commission I did awhile back in situ. Thanks to Kevin and Carol for trusting us with your house keys and allowing us to come into your beautiful home to photograph the stained and fused glass in your door panels that I designed and made a while ago now.

Then after Lindisfarne it was back to the studio to finish off another commission. This one was a glass panel to be hung on the outside of a house next to the front door.

Then Joe and I spent a bit of time down in Yorkshire exploring the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We took our two dogs, that was a big mistake as the youngest one whimpered the whole time we were there as he just wasn't used to crowds so we ended up cutting out visit short but not until we saw some amazing sculptures by KAWS. The historically designed landscape of the YSP remains home to these amazing and imposing sculptures until December. I would definitely recommend a visit if you get a chance before Christmas.
